Recently selected as one of the Daily Record's "BEST BANDS '09", House Call combines fun and energetic 80's Party Rock, Classic Rock and Pop to create an entertaining musical experience. With medically themed costumes and a pile of musical tricks up their sleeves, House Call is just what the doctor ordered!
The blending of local bands gives House Call the musical experience of honed professionals in a new format that many bands strive to achieve. Kyle Johnson (Guitar) from Chucklehead and Scott Stark (Bass) from Bitter Blue, Karen Stark (Keyboards), from Frankie Goes To Englewood, combined with Singer Sue Byrnes and the recent addition Bob Stanton of create a prescription for a good time.
"People seem to get a kick out of the costumes", says Bass player Scott Stark. "It gives some additional visual stimulation and makes the whole evening more of a show rather then just a music performance."
"We go out, we play and both the crowd and the band have fun, that's what it's all about", adds Guitarist Kyle Johnson.
